Having spent most of his professional life running the kitchen of a 5 star hotel in the Palmeraie of Marrakech we are thrilled that we enticed Aziz to this most beautiful of regions in the High Atlas Mountains.
Aziz defines the food experience at Kasbah Africa blending fine dining with casual and family style to create a unique culinary experience against a memorable backdrop of river valley, flower-filled terraced gardens and high peaks.
Very particular about his ingredients Aziz shops himself for organic fresh products from the three weekly Berber markets at Tahanoute, Ouirgane and Asni. Fresh locally grown vegetables, the best cuts of meat and hand-reared poultry are then transformed into delicate and delicious dishes for Kasbah Africa’s guests.
We have no fixed menu at the Kasbah – Aziz will discuss any dietary requirements with you on your first day, and tailor meals to your preferences.
Breakfast is usually served from 8 to 10 AM, lunch from 12 to 2 PM, and dinner from 7 to 10 PM.
You can choose to dine in our atmospheric river view restaurant, in the privacy of your suite, by the pool, under the shade of our Berber tent, or on your own sunny roof terrace. Wherever you choose you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view and a delicious meal.
