Enjoy a walk to Tikhfist village where you can enjoy magnificent views towards Ouirgane reservoir, one of Marrakech’s life-bloods created by a hydro-electric dam. The village of Tikhfist is perched high on a hilltop with fantastic vistas up the Azzaden Valley and of Kasbah Africa. Quite often there are children playing in the village and locals go about everyday life. In the Azzaden Valley shepherds tend their flocks and farmers cultivate fruit and vegetables including almonds, cherries, peaches, onions and cereals as well as the ubiquitous olives.

You will cross the river that nourishes the valley and follow low level paths between Kasbah Africa and Torort village. The path that leads up to Tikhfist twists and turns up the hillside. Descent is along the same trail. This guided walk takes a minimum of 3 hours including village visits but can take longer depending on personal interests, fitness levels and local interaction with the Berber people.
